The TCD Law Student Colloquium Programme 2016 is available now. Congratulations to the selected speakers! The colloquium is an all-day event, which will take place on Saturday, 20 February 2016, in the Law School and the Trinity Long Room Hub. Students from Ireland, Germany, France, UK, US, Iran and Canada will present papers on the following topics:

– Competition Law & Economics

– Corporate Law

– Medical Law

– Intellectual Property Law

– Legal Theory & Legal History

– Criminal Law

– International Criminal Law & Terrorism

– Human Rights Law

– Constitutional Law

– Religion and

– Personality Rights & Rights of the Child.

There will also be a Freshman Panel. The keynote event of this year’s colloquium is the Fifth Annual Brian Lenihan Memorial Address. The address will be delivered by The Hon. Mr. Justice Donal O’Donnell of the Irish Supreme Court. Mr. Justice O’Donnell has been a Judge of the Supreme Court since 2010. He was one of a small number of Senior Counsel nominated straight from the Bar to this position. He has previously practiced in all courts in Ireland as well as in the European Court of Justice and the European Court of Human Rights. The address will be followed by a reception.
